Test new countries with a clear expansion process
Country expansion gives a working offer access to more potential customers. This video explains how to test that opportunity while keeping the established account intact and making location the main variable.
Start with the countries you can serve
Build the candidate list around markets the business can actually ship to. More reach is useful only if the product, delivery experience, and economics work for those customers. Avoid treating every available location as an equally suitable market.
Use proven creative in a distinct test
The walkthrough creates a new-country ad set within a prospecting CBO and uses existing strong ads. It excludes countries already being targeted. Keeping creative familiar makes it easier to interpret what the location change is adding.
Control the test allocation
The video discusses a temporary minimum when the new group does not get enough delivery to evaluate. Relate that allocation to acquisition cost and the overall budget, then remove it after the defined test period. A campaign budget alone does not guarantee that a new market will be profitable.
Match the language and review the results
Check that the language settings fit the creative and customer experience. Evaluate country results against the business's required return rather than only looking at impression volume. When a market proves useful, include it deliberately in future launches instead of repeatedly creating unrelated expansion tests.
