Test creative without making testing the whole account
This video compares manual test budgets, evenly distributed creative tests, and CBO testing without controls. It then presents a pack-based approach intended to balance a fair test with continued spending on proven ads.
Define the answer the test should produce
You want to learn whether new creative can perform at meaningful spend. Equal spend across every asset is one way to gather data, but it also commits money to weak ideas. No minimum at all can create the opposite problem: a new group receives too little delivery to evaluate.
Launch a distinct creative pack
Group the new round by avatar and concept inside the prospecting CBO. Keeping that round identifiable makes it easier to apply a temporary allocation and later understand which idea earned its place in the account.
Use a time-limited minimum
The demonstration sets an ad set minimum for seven days and then removes it. The amount is related to acquisition cost and needs to fit the total budget. This is a controlled opportunity to collect evidence, not a reason to force the same spending forever.
Evaluate what happens after support ends
Review purchases, spend, and efficiency against the business's target. A pack may continue earning budget, need a new creative direction, or justify being reduced. Feed those results into the next test so the process develops useful winners instead of repeatedly starting unrelated experiments.
