Account audit habits that can quietly weaken ROAS
This audit walkthrough shows recurring problems across several accounts. The useful lesson is to inspect how the account is being operated, especially its strongest ads, measurement settings, and customer mix, before looking for a new strategy.
Check whether winners are allowed to run
The video identifies an account where a leading ad had been paused despite useful performance. Look at spend concentration and what happened to the best ads over time. Constantly replacing them can remove the very creative that was supporting the account.
Reduce campaign turnover without a purpose
Repeatedly launching campaigns can make it harder to build a stable view of performance. The audits question structures with many new campaigns and no clear roles. Give each campaign a reason to exist and enough continuity to assess the decision behind it.
Make measurement comparisons consistent
Review attribution windows and bid strategies before comparing campaign results. The video highlights accounts mixing several approaches without a clear rationale. An apparent performance difference is harder to interpret when the campaigns are measuring or optimizing toward different goals.
Inspect new and existing customer delivery
Set up the audience segment definitions and review the resulting breakdowns. A prospecting label does not prove new-customer acquisition. Check exclusions and warm-audience spend so high reported returns do not conceal repeated delivery to people already likely to purchase.
